Practicing Empathy & Charity

I absolutely LOVE Christmas! I love how we get delicious Christmas dinners, I love hanging out with friends and family, and I love getting PRESENTS! It makes me sad to know there are children in our community who may not get presents or to experience the joy of giving and receiving at Christmas like we do. I hope my idea can do something that helps that problem. We will buy and wrap lots of presents and give them to Presbyterian Support Otago.

Helpful Little Hands was started by Charlotte Hussey, a Year 5 student at Columba College, in November 2023. She was inspired in her religious education class to practice empathy & charity in her local community.
Her and her wonderful friends are raising money with baking and making and collecting donations to supply Christmas gifts to families in need.
